OPTUNIA FontanaArte Table lamp

OPTUNIA is a family of lighting fixtures of Fontana Arte company available in different versions: table or floor (with decentralized stem or without), floor, wall and hanging. Its functionality lies in the ability to rotate the two discs that make up the head of about 360 degrees, giving rise to an extraordinary number of light combinations.The lower disc rotates around an axis and at the same time the top disc rotates around a second axis, perpendicular to the first one.
This dual movement allows the Optunia lamp to encompass not only the characteristics of a direct-emitting light bulb, but also an indirect light emitting lamp that uses the wall or ceiling to produce a soft light. The Optunia element has a design that resembles a form in the nature: the two discs remind the blades of the ficus-indica opulence (fig-india), of which the lamp also has its name.
